One put on his hiking boots, and other cried, “Are you crazy, you can’t outrun a bear!” He replied, “I don’t have to outrun the bear, I only have to outrun you.” It’s quite similar when your criminal conspiracy is under investigation by a Federal agency. The main difference is you run towards the bear. Whoever gets to the bear first will get the best plea deal.

  3. @notfiveo R.I.N.O. = Republican In Name Only. There’s no H. It’s a derogatory name for an insufficiently loyal Republican, not an animal. I first heard it applied to Republicans that were beginning to question the war in Iraq around 2006, when the openly racist wing of the GOP started coming out of the woodwork.

  4.  @renitaperry5808  I don’t think there is a basis for arresting Barr. You’d need strong evidence that he committed a crime. Being a partisan hack is not a crime. There is a weak case that he obstructed justice, but it’s too weak to be prosecuted as a criminal case. If you want to punish Trump cronies in the criminal justice system, go after the low hanging fruit. Accountability for Barr will have to be social, political, and historical.

  6.  @bumblebootwiddletoes5185  Agreed. I do think he committed crimes in a larger sense, but not in the strict sense of a prosecutable crime. The sorts of crimes he is guilty of are of the sort tried in the court of public opinion or before the bar of history. Ultimately, history will pass judgement on him. Besides, there are plenty of Trump cronies that are guilty of prosecutable crimes. Go after the low hanging fruit, don’t waste time on trying to prosecute Barr.
