It was over too quickly. But even so, I don’t put too much trust in the Good Guy with a Gun scenario. Most people carrying, whether legally or not, don’t have the training to respond without putting others at risk. They might think they do, but that sort of overconfidence in their own competence is part of the danger they represent.

If we had free access to nuclear weapons, as guaranteed by the Constitution, we’d find the money to treat mental health problems. Believe me, it would become a top priority over night. Also, we’d all behave more courteously and respectfully to one another.

If you were an American, you’d know that the FBI will have no involvement in the case. This is a state crime and will be handled by local and state authorities.

Do you even American? What does the FBI have to do with this? In the United States, this is state and local matter, as you would know if you were a U.S. citizen. It’s Florida’s jurisdiction. There’s not even a hint that the murderer broke Federal Law.
