  1.  @drooplug  Wouldn’t you say that all these generals and commanders getting killed is a symptom of the top down structure? The Russian NCOs and junior officers aren’t trained in decision making or problem solving skills, nor would they be allowed to make decisions or show initiative when problems arise. So it’s all SNAFU until the general gets there to sort things out, and . . . bang or boom, another general bites the dust.
