@killuazoldyck5553 1st Guards in Moscow stays in Moscow to protect Putin. They’re not going anywhere. Similar with other well equipped elite units: they’re pinned down on the border with Poland. Many other less capable units are unavailable because they’re garrison forces to prevent uprisings in other parts of the Russian Federation. The Russian military has to be huge because they are the enforcers of an authoritarian police state.

@andrewkennedy6135 If it comes down to a war of attrition, that goes to Ukraine, hands down. The Ukrainians would keep fighting, even with rocks and sticks. Even if Russia conscripts a million more soldiers, they can’t control and pacify Ukraine with an attrition strategy.
