  2. Uh, no. Your approach has a lot to do with it. Without a stable approach (within speed and trajectory envelope) there could be tragic consequences. Anyway, I bet the second FTC taught the new inexperienced pilot was how to do a go-around, the first thing being how to not stall the plane (as you say, speed is super important). I have no experience, but I watch a lot of Blanco Lirio videos. 😄
