Crashing an aircraft into a California forest in 2021 is criminal, putting tens or hundreds of thousands of people at risk.

@Dutcheh Yuh, he bought it a month or so before the crash and hadn’t bothered to change the vehicle registration. I mean, why would anyone go to the trouble or pay the fee if they planned on crashing it for a video?

@AreeyaKKC I think the most FAA can do is suspend or revoke his pilot license. He crashed in Los Padres National Forest. I wonder which jurisdictions will go after him. You’ve got County, State, or Federal because it’s a National Forest administered by the Department of the Interior. Any or all of the above could pursue a criminal investigation. Incidentally, I know someone named Chalupa. She got her nickname because she is always barging in. And that’s all I will say a boat that.

I’m sure he had more water, a first aid kit, food, and any other supplies cached near where he planned to crash the plane. He had flown the same route less than a week previous in his other plane, and no doubt had scouted on foot.

@ColHunterGathers Also, if he had been fighting wind, he’d have made a big deal about to make the risk seem greater and himself more heroic. I can’t wait for Trevor’s videos on being the subject of an FAA investigation, on being prosecuted for a crime, etc.
