  1. I think this might become clearer when the warrant and receipt of property is unsealed. The DOJ has been negotiating to get documents returned. Safe speculation (but speculation nonetheless) is that they are classified documents improperly transported to Mar-a-GoGo and improperly retained at that address. It’s quite possible that the DOJ declines to prosecute for moving and keeping the documents. Improper or unlawful acts sometimes don’t rise to the level of criminality. I remember some years ago that a Secretary of State was improperly keeping official emails on a private server. After an investigation, the determination was that it was improper but not criminal. No harm, no foul. We should keep this in mind because this search of Trump’s residence might not yield any criminal prosecutions. While I personally think Trump has engaged in criminal acts, we must for the time being presume him innocent. He’s not above the law, but he’s not below the law, either. He has the same right to due process that anyone has in the U.S.A. Edit: out of fairness, I want to point out that it is only when Trump moves his mouth and sounds come out of it that he lies. Other sounds emitting from his body are not lies, nor are the associated smells. It’s theoretically possible that if Trump stopped making sounds with his mouth he would not be lying, but it’s hard to create conditions where this would be possible.
