  1. There might be a military cemetery in your area. If not, there might be a memorial park somewhere in your town or city. A memorial park in your town was dedicated as such to memorialize the people in your town that gave their lives for our country in one or more wars. I’m not suggesting that you visit the park whenever you need to put things in perspective (although if you did and it helps, that would be great. What I am suggesting is that you visit this park (or the aforementioned military cemetery) with the purpose of meditating and contemplating the service and sacrifice that were given by the young people in your area. And then ask yourself what can you do to serve your community, what small sacrifices you can make to better your community and help the people in your community (your neighbors). It’s just a thought. Maybe it sounds corny. But I hope you or others will consider it.
