Asking you as one with experience in the matter, which sounds like a more serious request? “No peanut butter because I have an allergy” or “I don’t like peanut butter.” ——- “Even a little bit of peanut butter can cause me to die.” or “Peanut butter is gross.” ————— I don’t know what the 17-year old peanut victim told the workers, but they don’t seem like evil or stupid people. I’m going to assume he didn’t clearly express his needs. I bet he expresses them clearly next time.

I guess you didn’t get taught about brushing and flossing your teeth. Try it, it makes mask wearing much more pleasant.

Why in the hell was she released? She should be locked up in a psych ward for 72 hours observation.

“You’re not the boss of me! It’s against the constitution to tell me not to touch boiling hot water!”

@jeffrbake It depends. Were they reporting to 911 what they thought they saw? If they didn’t see with their own eyes, did someone else tell them the perpetrator had a gun? Should we expect everyone to be able to identify a weapon in a fast moving situation? I agree though. Information from the 911 call(s) are going to shape police response. There should still be an investigation to determine the level of negligence of the officer, if any.

@GNP3WP3W oh, ye of little faith. Know you not that Trump turned 5 loaves into 5 rent controlled apartments? A miracle, I tell you!

@kellidinit3725 Her decision was a weird unjustified mash without sound legal reasoning. Sure, staying in her lane would have spared her the professional humiliation. But she could also have provided a more coherent argument for her determination (which might have clarified her thinking in the process). Seriously, the determination she made seems like she made her decision (or was told it), and then said, “I’ll make up a pile of legal mumbo jumbo to justify it. No one will notice.” So, maybe “her lane” is traffic court judge.

@pottiesinpittsburgh In Q-world. It’s like the twilight zone, except it’s completely fictional.

@dude2499 Looks like Trump is determined to “eat it” and not have it.

That’s crazy!

Lol, to get to the hot spring pool they had to move off the path where they weren’t supposed to go. People have become so opposed to any suggestion of control that they’ve lost control of themselves.

I think the apology is sincere—he’s accepting responsibility. We’ll see what a judge says (and a jury, if he fights charges). Losing his high paying job at Merrill Lynch is pretty harsh social punishment, but there must be some form of official censure beyond that. Secondarily—I do not blame these kids at all. Businesses that serve food to the public need to have policy and training in place wrt customers with allergies. If the kids aren’t trained to fulfill allergy based requests, that’s the company’s fault. If a company is failing their customers in this way, it’s up to the customer to go elsewhere.

@MR-ig9gb In the beginning, The Purge was just one night a year. It was so popular we made it twice a year, but people wanted a monthly Purge, then a weekly Purge. And that’s how we got to 365 Purge nights a year.

@genghiscan2918 Loose cannon.

I also understand cranky toddlers throwing tantrums when they don’t get what they want. I understand less when the cranky toddler is an adult like you (presumably) or this violence prone woman.

If you were a judge, you’d follow sentencing guidelines.
