  1.  @justanscv  the subscription analogy isn’t bad. It’s not perfect, but it’s not bad. Libertarians (and I was one in my youth) don’t understand or don’t want to admit that value is generated by more than their hard work or clever ideas, that it takes a healthy society to provide the environment for healthy capitalism. Unfortunately, the long term health of the society gets tossed in favor of short term gains and we gets something like we see today, a vampiric, predatory capitalism.

  3. Check out how Steven Seagal has financed his movies. Originally it was one of the Mafia families (at which point he became a cooperating witness for the FBI). Now he’s pals with Putin. 🤔
