@traceehoughton I’m not sure about all the things you wrote (I’m not sure I understand what you wrote), but I support your conclusion. This has all been a temper tantrum by a man-infant who is not getting his way wrt the election.

You are making an intelligent argument. Perhaps I shouldn’t be shocked that you are not mixing up the omnibus spending bill with the relief bill. Not shocked, pleasantly surprised. What I would like to see is a simple explanation of each line item in the spending bill. The explanation should include the name of the congressperson sponsoring it (or a note that it’s part of the President’s budget request). There might be very good reasons for some or all of the foreign aid, but we just don’t know. So I’d support your moratorium, at least UNTIL we get reasonable explanations in clear language for each budget line item.

@MarshallSweet it’s true, the Democrats have a plan to make Trump look bad. Step 1) Get out of his way. Step 2) ??? Step 3) profit!!1! Trump doesn’t need any help looking bad. He’s doing it all on his own. You’re doing a fine job of helping him, though.
