Maybe that’s part of the problem. We are electing these leaders. Why are we not demanding better leadership? Why aren’t WE stepping up? Why are we expecting our leaders to solve our problems when most of us only become politically engaged every four years? I don’t think the majority of Americans wanted a real leader in the last Presidential election. They wanted a reality show daddy and they wanted revenge for their imaginary grievances.

You subtract your spending from your earning. This gives you an exact number of either your surplus or your deficit. If you don’t understand this basic fact after it’s been pointed out to you, your mental deficiency will prevent you from appreciating anything said in this video.

“Jeffrey Sachs Explains the Unexplainable and Depressing Stupidity of the Trump Administration’s Economic Policies”. Honestly, I’m watching this in bite size pieces because it’s so depressing to have my worst fears confirmed. I was a conservative last century and the first 15 years of this century. I don’t think conservative fiscal policies are bad, but I do think that there has been too much of a good thing. Tax cuts can stoke the economy WHEN the economy needs stoking. Ditto near zero interest rates. At other times, tax cuts should be rolled back. Economic policies should be adjusted to close economic gaps. Sachs blames the rich for buying the politicians, but we (in the U.S.) bear responsibility for our political disengagement and our lack of participation in politics. We fall back on the excuse that “we didn’t vote for Trump”. Or we count as political activism our arguing with bots on Internet forums, which is the least effective form of political activism. How many of us volunteer for campaigns? How many contribute financially to campaigns? How many of us put effort into making sure our fellow citizens are voting? Our voting power erodes with each election, but it’s not too late to take back our power. The upcoming midterms might be our last chance.

Which will never happen while Republicans control Congress. To remove Trump from office will require solid majorities in both the House and Senate. And that won’t happen if YOU (we) don’t get out and campaign ahead of the mid term elections. It won’t happen if crooked GOP governors and secretaries of state keep purging the voter rolls of Democratic voters. We each are responsible and we each have a part to play in removing Trump from office.

Why are you not knowledgeable enough to do anything about it? Are you comfortable in your ignorance? Are you uneducable?

Maybe you don’t understand that democracy requires active participation by the populace. We’ve abdicated out responsibility and our power. But it’s not too late.

You didn’t even watch the video, did you? I suppose that as a bot, you’ve got a comment quota to fulfill, and don’t have time to watch. There was no rant. There was a clear eyed description of Ad Hoc-cracy and top level ignorance and arrogance.

What is left of the Republican Party is grifting power worshippers and mean spirited rubes and bumpkins, breathing an atmosphere of lies and self-flattery. Very few principled conservatives identify with the GOP anymore, mostly out of stubbornness even as they are rejected and/or purged by the rank-and-file morons, aka the MAGA base.
