@luisgalindo4530 but the generals do have a choice. They can refuse a criminal order, and bravely accept the consequences. They can resign, either quietly or publicly to show their opposition. Look what happened in Belarus that has kept the Belarusian military out of it. The top general/minister of defense resigned, and other generals threatened to resign. The Belarus president has allowed Putin to use his country, but not his soldiers because he faces mutiny.

@muuuuuud When I heard about how the ruble had crashed, I thought, “At least they won’t have any toilet paper shortages”. But it turns out that because of sanctions, their debit cards don’t work at the ATM, so they have to wait in long line to go into bank for toilet paper money. It’s real terrible—many Russians are pooping in their pants while waiting hours in line and unable to clean their butts. The best option now for ordinary Russian citizens is to withdraw all their rubles now while they can to insure they have a stockpile of toilet paper.

@ApunkDaydreamLamunanOi For sure, some childhood experience twisted Putin’s soul. If we can discover who bullied him, and pinpoint the moment that he was beat up in some St. Petersburg schoolyard, we might be able to build a time machine, go back a little further in time, and abort his mother’s pregnancy.
