@mcjitsu But can they do any of that and sell the bike at a reasonable cost. Back in the day I took a look at the civilian version of the Marine KLR diesel, and it was just too damn expensive for the amount of bike you were getting. The challenge of making and selling an electric bike that I’d want to own is going to be in battery weight—which is going to determine how much range you have on a charge. Greater range requires more battery weight, which makes the bike cumbersome and degrades performance.
