  2. Yes, invasions happened, but your so called Vikings were just the second or third or fourth wave from the same source people. They weren’t racially or ethnically distinct, they were at best temporally distinct (maybe).

  4.  @orktv4673  No. If these people had walked to England, Iceland, the Western Hemisphere, we’d not call them hikings, rather we’d call them hikers. Viking is the activity, so I suppose if you insist on using an ahistorical term arbitrarily, call them Vikers.
