  2. The most telling pretext of Putin’s criminal invasion is the lie that his military entered Ukraine to root out Naziism. The lie is revealed in how the Russian military is going about this “rooting out”—by murdering civilians, by destroying every house and building indiscriminately, by targeting fleeing refugees with bombardments. Apparently every Ukrainian citizen is a Nazi. Every brick in every building is a Nazi brick.

  3. Someone posted a comment that got deleted that asked TGA to discuss “hyper nationalism” and Banderas. I wrote a reply but could not post it due to the comment being deleted. Here it is: In any case, it seems that Putin’s “de-Nazification” of Ukraine was a pure pretext for a criminal invasion, unless one believes that children, mothers, fleeing refugees, the homes, hospitals, churches, museums, etc. are all Nazi and must be destroyed. Putin’s campaign is revealed to be the total destruction of a nation and a people. To judge by the actions and not the lying words, Putin believes that the very existence of Ukrainian people is an expression of Naziism. He’s demonstrated to the world what his “final solution of the Ukrainian Nazi Problem” will be. Whether Bandera is a Nazi or not is irrelevant at this juncture, because Putin has defined Naziism as anything that stands in his way. Banderas can be debated after Putin’s army is thrown out of Ukraine (or after WWIII if it comes to it).

  5. Interesting. I would say the terminology applies to “the state”, rather than country, but I might be quibbling over terminology and definitions. The state is a particular type of administrative surface (or interface). It’s purpose is to administrate the people and their activities within the geographic bounds of the country. So the country would define the geographic extent or area of control that is regulated by the state.
