  2.  @lward7788  The question is how many times have YOU tried to change that led you to the conclusion you are powerless? How many times did you organize with others to enact or change a law, and got knocked down? I suspect that the answer to both questions is zero. Nobody here is suggesting that the process is easy. But it is not out of reach here as it is in many places in the world, where the people are powerless to make changes to the laws or enact new ones. You sound like a person that never believed in democracy in the first place.
