  1. You’re saying that the jamming could trigger a programmed response from the drone to return to base or to a rally point away from the jammer gun. Fair enough. But while the drone is returning to base or flying out of jamming range, it’s not performing its task. So these jammer guns are effectively screening the Russian’s reconn. They are denying vital information about troop positions and movements to the Russians. As far as triangulating the jammer gun, that would require adding more hardware to detect direction, and Russia does not have access to that hardware because of sanctions. Remember that the hardware has to be miniaturized and use modern CPUs. Russia doesn’t have the capability to manufacture any of the miniaturized components and it can’t buy them. Their “high tech” manufacturing is early 1990s level at best, and I question whether they even have the capacity to build 90nm chips at scale. (Meanwhile Taiwan and South Korea can mass produce CPUs at 5nm-3nm.) Russia won’t run out of bullets or artillery shells, but they are already facing shortages of guided missiles, cruise missiles, precision guided bombs, and whatnot. They cannot easily replace MANPADS or ATGM systems.
