  1. I think Lukashenko has enough problems staying in control of his own population. If he attacks Ukraine, he won’t have enough soldiers left to put down the opposition. Say what you will about this brutal dictator, but he’s not a dummy like Putin. He will let Russia use Belarusian territory to launch strikes, but he won’t send his troops across the border.
