  2. As far as the rapid (rapid for FAA) response, this was an 🚨 emergency revocation 🚨. As far as we know, there hasn’t yet been a hearing on the case and a final decision, which the FAA would publish as a matter of public record. As far as we know, the investigation hasn’t been officially completed. I suspect that we’ll get a final determination in 8 months, the normal FAA time frame. The importance of the current development is that Jacob won’t be flying and putting the public at risk in the air. He will have plenty of opportunities to be a danger to himself or others on the ground, however, so I hope those law enforcement agencies with jurisdiction over the crash are investigating him for his reckless behavior that endangers people.

  3. I think he admitted to the FAA that it was a stunt to on the advice of his lawyers. If he tried to lie, he would instantly escalate the case into a serious criminal matter (beyond any criminal liabilities he’s already incurred). WRT to the parachute, I think he packed it into his ass. In case of emergency he will just fart it out. When Trevor reapplies for his license, the FAA will be taking a look at these videos he’s now releasing and seeing how he’s making a joke of the punishment. I also think the “settlement email” is fake.
