  1. Waking up is political poison to the GOP. I know this is difficult to believe, but there was a time when the GOP fought hard to keep our defense well funded. Nowadays they’re more concerned with attacking the military over culture war issues.

  3. Which party is against funding the military because it considers the military to be woke? Which party threatens government shutdowns? Which presidential candidate said government shutdowns are a good thing? I used to think Democrats priorities were misplaced, but I look at the GOP now and I don’t see any priorities.
