  3. Why are you not getting all the information you would like? There are two main reasons. 1) The information has not been determined or confirmed by the investigation, 2) The information has been determined and confirmed but the NTSB hasnt decided to release it. Ask Sal all the questions you want. I don’t think he can give you the answers you want. He can tell us possible answers, but he cannot inform us about what he doesn’t know. On the other hand, he can provide us with decades of learning and experience that he has gained from working in shipping, studying shipping, and teaching at the university level. Don’t be unreasonable in your expectations. Sal is generously providing us with a great service.

  4. I think you’re talking about digging rather than dredging. Work on the blocked channel will probably be complete before you’re finished digging a second one. That’s just my non-expert opinion. My channel digging experience is limited to sandcastle construction.

  9. The bridge rebuilding is also a local/state issue. Maryland will be responsible. No doubt the federal government will kick in a chunk of money (depending on which part is in control of congress). There will be insurance money from the marine insurer (as Sal discussed in another vid).

  10. I hate to say it, but the Dems are gonna love this. And this time they have a point. We really do need to spend more on infrastructure in general and bridges in particular. I know a lot of other fiscal conservatives that will fight spending. But sometimes you have to spend money to save money.
