There is a plat or plan for every airport that includes approaches, departures, geography, etc. Commercial Airline pilots familiarize themselves with these maps prior to even taking off, and have hard copies of the maps in the cockpit. What you are saying wrt familiarity with airports is wrong in general, but might be true for certain challenging airports.

Racists and Culture Warriors don’t even have a definition for “woke”. The closest thing they have to a definition is “anything that liberals are in favor of” or “anything that promotes fair and equal treatment for people different from us”. Debunking that a fictional threat exists doesn’t make them happy because they aren’t actually interested in safety. They are interested in accumulating and maintaining political power by leveraging cultural/racial/social prejudices and fears amongst their ignorant base of activists. Debunking of a lie or conspiracy theory doesn’t deter them because their world view incorporates debunking into their false narrative. In their minds, the debunker is merely revealing themselves as part of the “woke conspiracy”. Debunking is still important for informing the public, but don’t expect it to make any headway among the weird authoritarian extremists intent on hijacking political power.
