Itā€™s a very poor mentality to have for dangerous activities in which you want to limit risk. The regulations are there to limit risk. Lazy and/or reckless minds take shortcuts that normalize dangerous behavior. They intentionally decrease their margins of error for the thrill of it, even if this increases the risk to the public. And thatā€™s the bottom line. These pilots increased the risk to the public after being expressly told not to. It doesnā€™t matter that no one was hurt this time, because someone may get hurt next time.
