And now, on Tuesday, the jury found the father-and-son guilty on three counts each, and the “helpful” neighbor guilty of two counts. We don’t yet know what the penalties will be, but I consider them to be icing on the justice cake that was baked in the state trial. I do think it was wise for the state prosecutor to focus her case narrowly to make sure the defense couldn’t muddy the issues (which they tried). This just about wraps it up, except for the county prosecutor that tried to cover up the murder. Now is her turn in the barrel.

@theresamiles2443 He doesn’t understand what hearsay is. He cites a rule of criminal procedure, but is ignorant of what it is. His only expertise must be from his experiences as a defendant.

@bigisrick It’s not hearsay to testify about a conversation that one had with a person charged in a case. You don’t have any legal expertise. Stop pretending you do. Your experiences as a defendant in criminal trials don’t make you an expert.
