The problem with being a crooked real estate developer is that you can’t stuff your real estate assets into a suitcase and flee the country. The TrumpOrg owns real property in NY, and that property can be sold to pay his fine.

@gonefishn5138 Inflation is going back down and Trump blocked the border bill. If there is such a big crisis on the border, why did Trump order the MAGAs to block the bill? The answer is that it’s not a crisis, it’s a campaign issue.

His legal team is tranquilizing him to prevent outbursts and contempt of court charges.

lol, you already voted for Putin, you Ivan bot. 🤖

I’ve always given Bernie credit for endorsing Clinton after she won the nomination. I think his policies would have been bad, but nowhere near as bad as Trump’s were and will be if he’s re-elected. (That’s if we can agree that Trump has any policies. A slogan, Make America Golf Again, isn’t a policy. Revenge on his enemies isn’t a policy.) I wasn’t especially happy with having to vote for Clinton, but I did it. And I might have needed to think it over more, but I’d have voted for Bernie over Trump.

@tortoiseshell6666 You are bad at math.

The Old Testament says, “An eye for an eye.” I’ve always thought that meant proportionality. Israel has a right to defend itself, but their response to the Hamas attack has crossed the line of proortionality. It’s hard to say exactly where that line is, but it’s obvious that the IDF has gone far beyond it. At the same time, the Israeli government didn’t arbitrarily choose to attack the urban areas of Gaza. Hamas chose this battleground because they knew there would be a lot of civilian death and suffering. And we know Iran put them up to it. Both Hamas and Iran share responsibility for the deaths of Palestinian civilians along with Israel. The point is that Hamas is intentionally killing its own people for propaganda reasons. That is closer to genocide than what Israel is doing. If the student protestors were not ignorant of this, they would protest both Hamas and Israel. And they’re in college where they have the resources to study the conflict and the history of Israel’s conflict with its neighbors.

@Dino-god69 law enforcement and prosecutors should be obsessed with catching crooks.

Amazed that Ronda got 2nd place. It really says a lot about the degradation of the voter base.
3
I don’t have Trump derangement syndrome. I have Trump fatigue syndrome.
3
He FINALLY did what any normal Republican leader would do. Here’s hoping his adulthood continues.
3
@Matt-c7d He will try to put a stop to Democracy, which the OP objects to.
3
I missed the “threat”, but if you mean using the State of the Union as a bully pulpit to call out the failures of the legislature, that’s part of the checks and balances.
3
You expect it to be handed to you on a platter? Democracy is something we have to work at, and we must remember that.
2
YouTube is the wrong place to look for help. Maybe try a temp agency.
2
@rickwagner- yup. It’s based on the Lunar Calendar. Just like Passover.
2
You should demand a refund from whomever taught you English, Ivan.

I am. I’m a conservative. Helping Ukraine is important because Putin must be stopped. We can’t hide from the world.

Easter eggs are trans.
2
@tombaron2388 Relax, the same person posted the original comment and the reply. It’s bots playing the troll game.
2
No lies detected. Bibi is really in a class of his own, as tempting as it is to make comparisons.
2
Keep up. We’re now treating sports like they’re politics. Did you miss the hilarious right-wing commentary before, during, and after the “woke” Super Bowl, which has become a deep state plot. You couldn’t make this up.
2
Repeating Russian lies isn’t treason in the legal sense.
2
@acemanifester1401 It’s what they do to law breakers in Western Democracies.
2
“Im not a Trump supporter, but I do regularly post the Trump campaign talking points by a total coincidence.”
2
@JoshuaHopkins-j9o It is true. You’re the one who is lying.
2
@Edward-tm1dm The President is the chief officer of the executive branch of the U.S. Government. “The Office of the Presidency” does not refer to the physical office space. Running for any elected post is called “running for office”, and elected officials are called “office holders”. Your argument is flawed because you aren’t taking into account the common and legal meanings of words.
2
This has nothing to do with Joe Biden.
2
There’s no realistic chance of that happening until January 2025 at the earliest. Meanwhile, the Dems could make a deal to support Speaker Johnson against the MTGs and Matt Gaetzes destroying our country. I’m not saying the Dems should do this out of the goodness of their hearts. They should ask for concessions. But this is how we can return to the normal give-and-take of representational democracy.

Republicans in congress say that the crisis can wait, and they have put it on the back burner until next year.
1
About what?
1
I wouldn’t care if they brought McCarthy back, if he broke from Trump and MAGA, and lead the house as a coalition of bipartisan centrists. If there a Dems and Republicans willing to operate in good faith and assert the power of the center, even a POS weakling like McCarthy could do the job. I don’t blame the Dems for staying out of the GOP’s way as it self-immolates. But if they can find any half-way decent partners in the GOP conference, I hope they can find the means to cooperate.
1
@DerangedLib We are all suffering from Trump Fatigue Syndrome, even Trump himself. He keeps falling asleep in a proceeding that is all about him. He should be basking from all the attention and the focus on him. But it’s apparent that even he has grown bored with hearing his own name.
1
Nah. The majority of Republicans in Congress want to get things done. That means they will have to negotiate with Democrats.
1
The first amendment.
1
Not really. It might make you want to vote for him more, but you only get one vote. What this is doing is turning off independent voters that previously voted for Trump. This country is suffering from Trump exhaustion, and most of us just want to see him gone.
1
Apparently you aren’t aware that Easter isn’t pegged to a single date. How sad that you are so emotionally invested in a religious holiday which you barely know about. 😂
1
Boehner was taken down because he was willing to work with Dems. Same with McCarthy, although his downfall was due in part to other factors. (Nobody trusted him and he was a big A*hole.) The Dems can throw Johnson a lifeline. But at what cost to Johnson? What will he have to give up to the Dems? If Trump orders the GOP to get rid of him, will they go along? (Probably) I want to point out that moderate republicans have a nuclear option, although it’s unlikely they’d use it. They can threaten that if Johnson is deposed, they’ll abstain from voting and throw the Speakership to Jeffries. (Not going to happen, but it could.
1
@AdamBaums101 They poll their constituents. About 70% of Americans are in favor of support for Ukraine. 100% of Russian bots are against it.
1
@jannaswanson271 That’s false. It’s based on 19th century folklorists making incorrect speculation. Just because other religions celebrate spring holy days doesn’t make them the same. The truth is that the Christian Easter builds on the Hebrew Passover, but doesn’t copy it. The Last Supper was a Passover dinner. That’s the facts.
1
@djkanyetwitty That’s false. It’s bs made up in the 19th century.
1
@RocketScientist1 I disagree with that. I wouldn’t say either one is “better”. I also disagree with the original comment. It’s in the interest of the Democrats to cancel out the clownery of the MTGs. Johnson had shown a willingness to negotiate and compromise so that the work of government gets done.
1
This clears the path for Jordan Peterson to become Trumps new spiritual advisor. 😝
1
I wish they’d hurry up and classify my sperm as children. It’s almost tax time, and I could use a billion exemptions.
1
I said the same thing. An eye for an eye is the law of proportionality. I don’t know exactly where that line is, but the IDF has gone past it. At the same time, Israel didn’t choose this Urban battleground. Hamas did because they knew the killing of civilians would turn the world away from Israel. They are just as culpable for the civilian deaths.
1
Congress can impeach and convict Supreme Court justices.
1
@acemanifester1401 You’re not an American.
1
Make America Golf Again.
1
@solarisy456 Does Johnson need Trump’s support anymore?
1
What about exemptions on income taxes?
