  1.  @gageshippy2256  Money to safeguard schools is really a state matter, and is unrelated to support for Ukraine. If you have some idea for improving safety at your local schools, contact your state representative and other state officials. The Feds and Congress are limited in what they can do—tighten up gun purchasing regulations and increase funding for mental health are about all they can do. The states can also do those two things.

  2. Supreme Court justices aren’t politicians. They are appointed, not elected. Their position entails considerably more risk of deadly violence than that of a child. I don’t like Kavanaugh, I don’t think he’s qualified for the job, but he’s there. Attempts to remove him through assassination (no matter how lame brained and doomed to failure) is an attack on justice and rule of law. It’s an attack on the U.S.A.
