@teflontelefon Opening businesses now, in the middle of this winter surge, is NOT sustainable, unless you hope for hundreds of thousands of more deaths before enough people are evacuated. Not all businesses are closed, btw. But even if all were reopened, people don’t have enough money to spend at those businesses.

You realize that these “giveaways” were in President Trump’s own budget proposal? This is spending that Trump requested. He’s blaming Congress, but he’s the one that put it into the budget.

Why would they print that lie?

You are lying.
1
You first. Good luck with that.

What did she do now? Did Pelosi hide all of Trump’s crayons or something?
1
Why do you think that? The president’s negotiators had already approved it. Why didn’t he register his objections then? The foreign aid spending was in HIS budget request, not added on by Congress.

What information was incorrect?

Unfortunately that will have to wait until after the inauguration, because you can’t prosecute a sitting president. There are other reasons you can’t prosecute a president for vetoing legislation, but your heart is in the right place. At least you’re intelligent enough to realize the spending Trump now objects to is spending he already approved of or even asked for in his budget proposal.

@GreatYue Tell us how your civil war in China worked out.

So, you want government to hand out jobs, not temporary cash assistance in a period of high unemployment? Are you a socialist?

@user-sv9oh9bk9h That is a lie. A big lie. I don’t know what lying gets you, but you should stop lying. The spending that you object to is in the spending bill that will keep the government operating through the new year. (If that bill isn’t passed, the government shuts down on Monday.) The amount of the spending is NOT 90%. It’s LESS than 1%. It’s a fraction of 1%! Less than 1/10th of 1%. It’s also spending included in the President’s own budget proposal. Trump is blocking the bill after it passed with his approval. Why? The stimulus payments? Why weren’t his negotiators holding firm at $2000? Why wasn’t he personally pressing Congress behind the scenes for more. Is McConnell not taking his calls? Or is President Trump afraid to call McConnell? What happened to the Art of the Deal?

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I bet there’s a Russian equivalent to that, eh, Ivan?

You first, and good luck with that.
