  1. But it seems they didn’t really interview the witness to determine the credibility of her claims. If they returned after her mental crisis had passed, they might have gotten a statement from her that could provide probable cause to get a warrant. It really sounds like they did minimal CYA work because they wanted to dismiss her accusations as being due to her mental crisis.

  3. If the police didn’t find her credible because she was having a crisis, I want to know why didn’t the police return for a second interview just after the crisis, just to be certain. They never treated her like a potential witness.
