@sushi4life In-and-Out does do advertising, mostly radio. It’s a smart strategy, as a major part of their business is drive through, and people who listen to radio tend to do it while in their cars. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a TV advertisement for In-and-Out. I’m not saying they don’t exist, but if they do, the company isn’t spending much on ad buys.

@angeltrip It’s family owned, so not answerable to shareholders. In your typical publicly traded corporation, the corp. is subject to lawsuits if they are not maximizing profits. Executive pay and bonuses are based on profitability. A lot of publicly traded companies give lip service to taking care of employees and the communities they serve, but don’t walk the talk.
