That would be making the same mistake that Russia made, having too many fronts. Belarus will take care of itself. The government barely has support of the military. Lukashenko’s regime is on a knife edge.

@ibnu9969 You must be referring to the Russian separatists deserting from the Russian army. Some of them aren’t even separatists, just young men forced to serve the Russians. They’re throwing down the antique WWI rifles they were given and going home. The separatist Ukrainians have seen what a disaster Russia has been for them. It’s likely they will rejoin their countrymen in the fight against Russia if they are promised amnesty.

It’s possible that, as Ukraine builds up for its counteroffensive, deliveries are not being publicized. It’s also worth noting that Germany didn’t have the most robust military to begin with. A lot of the very important help Germany has done has to do with pass through agreements for arms made or upgraded in Germany. When a German arms company sells or upgrades equipment, there are agreements for the customer country to not sell the equipment to third parties, according to German law. The German government has abrogated some of these agreements to speed the release of equipment other countries are donating to Ukraine.
