  1. Yes, but it’s even worse. They REJECT critical thinking and all reason. They reject practical solutions (because Trump rejects them). Trump is the head of this monster, but they’re the body. Removing the head (in November) will stop the body, but let’s not fool ourselves that this monster can’t grow another head.

  2. Ronnie Baker Reagan struggled with his homophobia personally. His son was gay. He really didn’t need to broadcast his homophobia because homophobia was still the national norm at the time. Wrt the Racism, he did throw out dog whistles on occasion, but active hate wasn’t part of his program. It was the casual racism that is still unconsciously embedded in many Americans, even those with good intentions.
