  1. Maybe I’m all wet, but I thought the main purpose of The Lincoln Project was to reach conservative voters, not coddle liberal voters or provide liberals with a platform to berate conservatives. Maybe I’m wrong about this. Of course, you’re free to do whatever you want, even attack Murkowski. Honestly, though, you’ve got an opportunity here to persuade us when we’re at our most persuadable. It’s highly doubtful you’ll convert us into liberal Democrats, but you might pull us closer to the center. You might convince us on particular issues. At the end of the day, you and are are a lot closer in our world view than any of us are with Trump, his minions, and his deplorable supporters.
