  1. The armorer is supposed to keep firearms under lock and key when they’re not on set. They shouldn’t leave the set if they’re not in her custody. Crew are not supposed to borrow ANY props, let alone firearms. So there really was no reason for them to be bringing in live ammunition to the location in the first place.
