  10. The numbers are still too low to make a huge difference. What I think we’ll see is the F-16 used as an enabler for Stormshadow and Himars strikes by suppressing (and hopefully degrading) Russian air defense. Those HARM missiles are wonderful things. I don’t think the F-16s will make much of a dent against the Russian Glide bombs, because they need considerable altitude to launch long range air-to-air missiles. While they’re gaining that altitude, they’re very vulnerable to the Russian SAM systems. I do think the F-16s will make a difference, but it will be slowly over time.

  12.  @LRRPFco52  You should point out that the U.S. doesn’t need to manufacture its own gun barrels because we can buy them from barrel specialists in other countries. The reason we are able to buy barrels for artillery, tanks, or w/e on the open market is because we aren’t being sanctioned and isolated for our illegal invasion of a neighbor.
