@TrendyStone I think it’s possible that we’ll see a replication of cross border auto manufacturing with the mid level and high level silicon, and iPhone manufacturing. Certain regions in Mexico are already into high tech and/or light industrial. I’m more familiar with Querétaro, but you’ve also got León, Puebla, Guadalajara. Querétaro is a center for aerospace suppliers/subcontractors.

It’s good news/bad news. The bad news is that China falling apart isn’t necessarily a good thing regionally or globally. In fact, it could be pretty bad. The middling news is that Biden isn’t trying to make China collapse. He’s motivating it to get on the right path, a path where they aren’t threatening Taiwan, supporting Russia and NK, stealing intellectual property, manipulating currency, penetrating out computer networks, and generally being irresponsible rat bastards. Let’s hope the atheist commies get right with God. 😉
