  1. I wanted to point out that there’s a very real security risk to buying your CPUs on the grey or black market (or from an untrustworthy OEM). Remember the server scare, where it was reported that some Chinese made server mother boards contained tiny payloads in the hardware? The story was plausible, if untrue. And it cuts both ways, especially if the distribution chain is murky.
