@zibbitybibbitybop If a tool can make a worker 50% more productive, a company can hire two workers instead of three. On the scale of individuals, those workers who can best leverage a new technology will have a leg up on their fellow workers, and companies who can best leverage it will have a leg up on the competition. Put another way, if your company has 10 programmers working on legacy code, and AI technology makes each of those workers 10% more productive, the company might lay off one of you. On the other hand, it might not if it can utilize the gains to grow.
