  1. They’re getting shot at and shelled when they leave. USSR, I mean, Russia has agreed to cease fire corridors, but as soon as there are people fleeing in the corridor the Russians break the cease fire and start killing them. Russia can’t win against the Ukraine defense forces, so they’re going to punish Ukraine by murdering the civilians and destroying the cities. The Russians can no longer claim that it’s inadvertent or that they’re softening up military targets before assaulting them, because they’re shooting missiles and bombarding cities not even on any of their routes of advance. They’re trying to terrorize Ukraine and break its will to resist. And if they can’t do that, they’ll destroy the entire country as much as they can.
