@skarr7985 Condolences are for the survivors, not for the dead. There was tragic loss of five lives here, but in the cruel calculus of tragedies, five deaths are not particularly notable. One might even consider it trivial. The only thing really noteworthy was that the victims were engaged in a high risk recreational activity—the risks of which they were aware. I think I will reserve my pity for those individuals that are taking satisfaction in the deaths because the dead were among the wealthy. I pity them because they have degraded themselves as humans. They’ve lost some of their connection with humanity.

@donlod322 do you understand that there isn’t an “authority” in international waters? There is international law in international waters. That set of laws is the “authority” when they are upheld by the nations of the world.

@zoren1900 It’s not something you learn, like a skill or gathering information. It’s something that develops during normal human maturation. It’s something you lose. Pity him for losing it, and pity him more if he never developed it. If it’s something he lost perhaps he can regain it. If he never had it, it’s likely too late.
