  2. I was hoping for Shapiro, but Walz is a very good pick. I’m not disappointed. Looking at the national chessboard, it’s better if Kelly holds his Senate seat. I don’t think any of these contenders are “too progressive”. Like VP Kamala, they’re garden variety liberals. I think the Dems are assembling a team that traditional conservatives can work with (if there’s any of us that remain in politics).
