@kr6bejuut Blitzkrieg really doesn’t work without a viable overall strategy. Hitler couldn’t hold on to his blitzkrieg gains because his grand strategy was irrational. Putin is doing great damage to Russia and won’t hold on to any gains he makes in Ukraine because his strategy is flawed. Putin is no more rational than Hitler was. It’s not surprising that he repeats the same justifications for aggression that the Nazis used in 1938-1941. Ukraine will recover from Putin’s criminal acts a lot faster than Russia will.

@clovisdacruz6078 If the blitzkrieg was actually successful, you’d be typing in German. Blitzkrieg is a tactic against brittle static front line defenses. It cannot win if the over strategies are flawed or the national policy is irrational. It won’t succeed even tactically against a defense in depth. Take a look at the battle of Kursk for a good early example of defense in depth beating the blitzkrieg. The Nazis made early gains using their breakthrough tactics, but they couldn’t hold those gains. I think you realize and would agree that Putin the Pimp will not be able to hold any temporary gains he makes in Ukraine.
