  1. Not all Russian Criminals are in prison. In fact, many were already in the Russian armed forces prior to the invasion. So recruiting imprisoned criminals won’t make much difference.

  2. Maybe send this suggestion directly to the Ukrainian armed forces, instead of posting it on a video? Email it to the Ukrainian embassy.

  3.  @stc3145  different figures get thrown around, but only a small percentage were killed by coalition forces. Most of the violence post “mission accomplished” was sectarian violence, i.e., Iraqis killing each other. If one argued that the U.S. still has some responsibility for those deaths, there could be an honest debate. But the claim that U.S. soldiers murdered 150,000 or a million Iraqis is a complete lie. I think the invasion was a mistake, and the way the Bush administration tried to create democracy in Iraq was an even bigger mistake. But accuracy is important. (And I would also say that Bush did evil things with the best of intentions, but that might be irrelevant.)

  4. Having fought a against an insurgency himself, I think he’s aware that it was always going to be impossible for Russia to win. He was also part of a force that invaded a country and destroyed its standing army, so I think he knows what is required to win militarily. It’s clear to everyone now that Russia can’t even win militarily, let alone successfully occupy Ukraine. Yes, he knows what he’s talking about. But honestly, anyone paying attention knows Russia is losing now and will lose completely sooner or later.

  6. I’m pretty sure they were recruiting criminals from long before the invasion in 2014. Apparently they’re running out of free criminals and are now recruiting imprisoned ones.
