  5. The House could impeach him in a matter of hours. The Senate could just pocket the impeachment, and convict/remove Trump if he tries anything. (In theory) the threat of removal will keep Trump from doing anything rash, like bombing New Zealand for the hell of it. And the Senate can still convict when it changes hands after the inauguration.
