They’ve been criticizing Trump for the last four years, five including the 2016 election. Where have you been? Also, consider the audience they’re trying to reach: fellow conservatives that have fallen under the spell of fascism. That might be why you’re hearing from Bill Cohen for the first time. If he was addressing you, he’d be preaching to the choir.

Graham has been so far up Trump’s ass, I’m surprised he has the room to turn around.

Seems that way. The party is torn in two. The extreme right wing faction might have captured the majority of the GOP, but they’ll never again regain national power without the moderates, “moderate conservatives”, and pro-democracy conservatives. This is probably why they’re so willing to use violence to maintain power.

They’re out there and they’ve been out there, trying to offer an alternative to the GOP’s brand of fascism-disguised-as-conservatism. As the extreme right gets more violent with GOP support, more conservatives are waking up to this and are horrified.

You’re posting the same nonsensical comment to every video. Troll much?

It’s not a contradiction. To bring the country together, we have to deal with the anger on both sides. We need to understand it and its sources. We have to examine those sources under the clear light of day. I suspect you and I share a political bias. We must temporarily set those aside and listen to the other side with an open mind to get at the real source of their anger. It’s a bit like therapy: we hope that the other side will finally understand the underlying cause of their anger. And we must be open to the possibility that they are justified in whole or in part! Anger is part of the human condition, but we can feel anger and still behave like adults. If we cannot, there is no “bringing the country together”. The anger expressed in the attack on the Capitol was the anger of people psychologically stunted to the level of a cranky 4 year old who isn’t getting their way. But it’s an anger that many Americans feel, even if they don’t express it violently (and childishly).
