  4. Very few are defending him. Quite a few have dished as “anonymous sources”. But even this is pretty short sighted. If you were the ringmaster of the GOP circus and one of your clowns caught on fire, would you want to get him out of the tent? Or would you do as the GOP is doing now, and pretend there’s no chance the burning clown will light the whole circus on fire? The chickens of GOP’s denial of reality are coming home to roost.
