  1. The problem is that the DOJ can’t just “step up” as you put it. Lying is not a federal crime on its own, so it cannot charge someone for lying to the public. Nor does the DOJ have the authority to remove someone from office (nor should it have that power). Perhaps you should educate yourself on the weapons of lawfare and learn how government actually works before offering your prescriptions of what government should be doing. The cleanest solution to problem politicians like Gosar is political activism. Your political activism. Unfortunately that takes a lot more work than beseeching the Department of Justice to do something it can’t easily do or is legally barred from doing.
