@reconx86 This one time I was driving with my girlfriend, and we parked in a quiet place to make out. While we were kissing there was a news bulletin on the radio. Some psycho had escaped from the local mental hospital for the criminally insane . . . Wait, I think this is the wrong video for this story. I forgot how it’s related. . . Oh, yeah. The police caught the psycho, but my girlfriend gave me a venereal disease that night. It burned like fire when I peed. That’s why the video reminded me of the story. It really burned.

@hairyairey To be fair, someone thought it was possible. And the people who’s job it is to think about possible threats didn’t. Funny story: after 9/11, CIA convened several meetings/working groups of writers to brainstorm unlikely but possible threat scenarios to close that imaginative gap. I don’t think it was a wasted effort.
