  1. It was a “feint” that saw Russian generals killed and others arrested. The overall commander of this “feint”, Roman Gavrilov, who was #2 in charge of Russia’s National Guard, and formerly the head of Putin’s personal guard, was arrested shortly after Putin’s speech about “purifying Russia of its traitors”. I haven’t seen this channel before. The video just came up in my recommendation feed. I’m just going to assume that the channel is unreliable and non-credible, whether or not it is Russian sponsored.

  2. Funny how the trolls and Russian apologists managed to derail this conversation. Your point stands, and the contention that the attack on Kyiv was a feint is more bankrupt apologia. It’s like Peewee Herman crashing his bike and declaring “I meant to do that”.

  3. They pinned down American carriers in the Central Pacific, which allowed operations in the Aleutian Islands to proceed unhindered. Midway is inconsequential. There isn’t even a good source of water there.
