You have 100 firefighters for a diesel fire, yeah right.

The problem isn't EV buses as trolleybuses were quite effective. Battery powered buses on the other hand.

Never assume we have reached the peak yet.

@riaanlouw1874 It takes at most 3 firefighters per car unless it's a lithium battery issue.
6
Just wait until people are charging more than one EV at home.
5
@conveyor2 It's proven to work, unlike battery powered buses.
4
They forgot to show the backup diesel generator.

It's like setting up welding cables across the pavement.

When you say home you mean the dealer? :)

How does a turbo work on an electric car?

For electricity generation, nuclear is the best option.

Ford could make a lot more money if they sold regular cars not just SUV's and trucks.

EV's might have been a good idea if it came from the grass roots up over time rather than top down rapidly.

A Tesla 3 couldn't make it more than 1hr on a full charge when the temperature is -13c.

The best use of EV's is still the electric milk float of my childhood in the UK.

Didn't Hertz get a new CEO around that time?
1
The F-150 Lightning was the only EV truck until the Tesla Cyber Truck came out.

EV's the external combustion engine ;)

Hardly engine diesel engines in cars in the US, diesel engines are in pickup trucks and larger trucks. Air to Air heat pumps work just fine, you get heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. I can't speak to the air to water systems.
1
The I-Pace is like the rest of the company, might burn to the ground. Stellantis is falling apart, they can't sell overpriced cars anywhere. How can EV's be charged if they power grid can't even keep up with warm weather?
1
The problem with EV's is the Lithium batteries.
1
Imaging driving through a flooded road in an EV and it catches on fire while you driving and have everything in your car.
1
Electric buses work fine, battery powered ones, on the other hand.
1
An electric fire truck next to a fire, what could possibly go wrong.
1
Where I am in the US the state charges more every year for registration as the fuel tax pays for roads, etc.
1
Sadiq Khan is one of the most incompetent people in the UK.
1
Stellantis is falling apart in the US as they can't sell anything because the prices are way too high and the quality is very bad.
1
In 2023 piles of every kind if car happened at dealers. Who would pay $40,000 (usd) more than a Mercedes Benz S-Class for a pickup truck.
1
EV racing will mean the accidents are going to be spectacular. There is already Formula E, who watches that?
1
Nuclear powered aircraft just seems like a bad idea on its face. There are some all electric aircraft already mostly small general aviation.
1
If it had a nice V16 it would be interesting but as it's an EV it's stupid.
1
Isn't the Taycan an electric version of the Panamera?
